The Assistant Category Buyer is a key role within our Commercial team, driving sales and maximizing profit through effective range management and procurement strategies.

Working closely with the Category Buyer and Senior Category Buyer, you will be responsible for tracking market trends, social signals, and customer insights to identify opportunities for growth and improvement. You will support department strategy and budget planning, ensuring that all purchasing decisions are data-led and aligned with company objectives.

As Assistant Category Buyer, you will assist in the procurement of women's wear products, working collaboratively with vendors to negotiate favorable terms and conditions. You will also monitor inventory levels to maintain adequate stock levels, evaluate vendor performance, and identify areas for cost savings.

Key responsibilities include:

* Driving company-wide strategies and OKRs
* Assisting in the procurement of women's wear products
* Monitoring inventory levels and maintaining adequate stock levels
* Evaluating vendor performance and identifying areas for cost savings
* Negotiating favorable terms and conditions with vendors
* Collaborating across departments to ensure timely deliveries

Required skills and qualifications include:

* Minimum 2 years experience as an Assistant Buyer in a high-volume business
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
* Ability to time-manage work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
* Proficient in Jira, Excel, BI, and API integrations preferred
