ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic HR Administrator to support our HR team on a full time, 6-month max-term contract. This role plays a key part in providing administrative, recruitment, and compliance support across the Parish.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a dynamic environment, contributing to projects, and being part of a collaborative HR team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide administrative support to the HR team
Assist with employee recruitment processes, including pre-employment checks and onboarding
Coordinate volunteer recruitment, screening, onboarding and compliance
Maintain employee compliance registers (e.g., Police Checks, WWCC, AHPRA, Visa, First Aid)
Support HR initiatives and continuous improvement projects
Cross-functional support and back-up across the broader HR team as needed

WHO YOU ARE
Experienced in administration within a busy office environment
High attention to detail with strong organisational and time management skills
Passionate about delivering outstanding internal service
Clear communicator with strong interpersonal skills
Able to work both independently and within a team
Previous HR or recruitment administration experience (desirable)
Understanding of or willingness to support Catholic values and mission
