What You Will Be Doing
As a Phlebotomist, you will collect blood and coordinate specimen samples from patients, delivering excellent customer service and high‑quality healthcare.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Collect samples (blood and non‑blood) with care and attention.
- Keep meticulous records for every patient and sample.
- Deliver documentation within strict turnaround times.
- Prepare and package specimens for transport and testing.
- Liaise with customers, clinic staff, and couriers.
What Type of Person Will Be Successful
Experienced Pathology Collector or candidate with a Certificate III in Pathology Collection. Registered Nurses seeking daytime shifts are also welcome.
No prior pathology experience but a customer‑service focus and healthcare background? We offer fully paid training and mentoring.
Attributes & Skills You Would Possess
- Experience or knowledge in Phlebotomy/Certificate III in Pathology Collection or other healthcare background.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills with high empathy.
- Organised, strong time management, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work autonomously, sometimes independently in a solo clinic.
- Valid driver’s licence and flexibility to travel to multiple clinics.
- Working with Children’s Check or willingness to obtain it.
- Australian citizen, permanent resident, Recent Zealand citizen, or valid visa with work permission.
- Vaccine evidence such as Hepatitis B is a requirement; other vaccinations may be required based on location.
