The purpose of the Planning & Trading Assistant role is to support the day-to-day delivery of administrative, operational, planning, and trading tasks across the client team.

This role provides essential support to the Planning & Trading team across all media channels, assisting with campaign execution, reporting, bookings, finance processes, and client servicing. You'll gain hands‐on experience across the full media planning and buying process while working closely with internal specialists, media partners, and client teams.

Your Scope Will Include

* Support the team in managing timelines, meeting preparation, follow‐ups, and key deliverables to ensure smooth campaign delivery
* Assist in compiling client‐facing presentations, post‐analysis reports, WIP documents, competitive reviews, and market landscape reports
* Maintain accurate records of campaign bookings, client communications, approvals, deadlines, and media assets
* Support campaign delivery by coordinating material instructions, specs, dub despatch, and liaising with creative agencies and media partners
* Assist with media bookings, placement tracking, and monitoring delivery against approved plans
* Ensure all campaign assets and instructions are accurate, approved, and delivered on time
* Track campaign performance against goals and targets, helping identify optimisation opportunities
* Support budget management by ensuring bookings align with briefs and approved budgets
* Assist with loading bookings, checking plans, and supporting invoicing processes with finance and internal teams
* Maintain organised filing systems and documentation to ensure records are accessible and accurate
* Build strong relationships with media vendors, publishers, and internal teams across the agency
* Support broader team collaboration across Performance, SEO, Data & Analytics, and Client Lead teams
* Contribute ideas in planning sessions and stay informed on media trends and consumer behaviour
* Participate in agency training, learning, and development initiatives

About You

* Strong organisational and time management skills
* High attention to detail and accuracy, particularly with numbers and reporting
* Effective written and verbal communication skills
* Strong numerical and mathematical ability
* Confident using Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and ideally G Suite / Mac systems
* Strong problem‐solving skills and ability to think laterally
* Able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast‐paced environment
* Passion for media, consumer behaviour, and emerging trends
* Positive attitude, collaborative mindset, and willingness to learn
