Seeking a dedicated and passionate Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Youth Peer to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing culturally-safe peer support to young people with wellbeing challenges, drawing from their personal experience of social-emotional wellbeing difficulties.
This role involves sharing recovery stories, offering hope and practical strategies for social and emotional wellbeing recovery, and working collaboratively with our team to assess young people's health and wellbeing needs.
We are looking for someone who is experienced in using the Microsoft suite of software and databases, has a Certificate IV in Mental Health / Peer Work or equivalent, and is an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person with a lived experience of social and emotional wellbeing concerns and recovery.
