Security and risk management specialist

Job Description

Risk and security professionals play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of employees, contractors, retailers, and customers. They monitor hazards, incidents, emergencies, near misses, and claims across the region.


Responsibilities

* Proactively manage hazards and incidents to prevent workplace injuries and accidents
* Monitor service delivery agreements and provide constructive feedback to improve performance
* Coach contracted staff on workplace health and safety legislation and obligations
* Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders including customers, retailers, contractors, police, regulators, and emergency services

This is a permanent full-time opportunity based in Westfield Belconnen and Westfield Woden. The successful candidate will have experience in security operations, risk management strategies, and leadership skills.

The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders. They will also have experience in risk management strategies, security operations, and leadership skills.
