The Alyangula Golf Club on Groote Eylandt in the NT is looking for a full-time qualified sous - chef to join our highly skilled kitchen staff. This position involves a 3-month probationary period. This is A live on position. We at the golf club operate a busy bistro and kitchen that offers catering, breakfast buffet and cater to big golf events.
We are looking for a Sous - chef with a minimum of 1 yr experience with plenty of knowledge of Australian cuisine. Minimum stay of months is essential.
Salary expectations - $74,000 - $78,000 @90hrs per fortnight.

Responsibilities/Duties:
· Creation of special meals
· Running of kitchen when Head chef is off duty
· Assisting in head chef duties outside of kitchen
· Training and encouraging casual and younger staff
· Maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen
· Reporting health and safety protocols
· Reporting maintenance faults within the kitchen
