About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced, dedicated, and proactive Enrolled Nurse to step into the role of House Facilitator at our Supported Independent Living (SIL) home in Hervey Bay. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of residents while leading and mentoring a team in a positive, flexible, and growth-focused environment. You will play an essential role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents while fostering a collaborative and supportive team culture.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide leadership, guidance, and training to staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality care.
• Deliver a range of supports including personal care, social support, medication administration, nursing care, and domestic assistance.
• Oversee the smooth operation of the home, ensuring the well-being of residents and maintaining the facilities to a high standard.
• Ensure compliance with NDIS standards and relevant regulations for SIL homes.
• Maintain open and effective communication with staff, residents, families, and external service providers.
• Contribute to your own professional development while supporting the growth of your team.
• Uphold Just Better Care's policies, safety standards, and customer care principles.
• Demonstrate a commitment to equity and anti-discrimination in the workplace.
• Perform any additional duties as required to meet the ongoing needs of the organisation.
Selection Criteria:
Essential:
• Qualifications in Nursing (Diploma or Bachelor's).
• Experience in supervising and training staff in a similar role.
• Proficient in maintaining computerised customer information systems.
• Strong administrative and organisational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Current Criminal Record Check.
• Current Working with Children Check (if required).
• Current Driver's License and NDIS Workers Screening Clearance.

• High-level communication and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent planning and organisational abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and resilience in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex situations with empathy and professionalism.
