Bring your correctional experience to Clarence Correctional Centre as a Correctional Case Officer, supporting inmate management, safety, and rehabilitation within a secure and respectful environment, you will:
* Supervise and manage inmates while promoting rehabilitation and reintegration
* Conduct searches, monitor inmate activities, and maintain a structured, secure environment
* Use communication and problem-solving skills to defuse tense situations and maintain order
* Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure inmate welfare
What You'll Need
* Certificate III/IV in Correctional Practice
* Minimum 2 years' experience to meet requirements for CCO Level 3
* Proven ability to manage and supervise inmates safely and professionally
* Strong communication, empathy, and resilience
* Ability to stay calm under pressure and exercise sound judgement
* Physical fitness to meet role demands
* A valid Driver's Licence
* Australian Work Rights
