Job Description:
Process customer orders and small projects through the ERP system (SAP Business ByDesign), including B2B orders. Prepare customer quotes, sales orders, order acknowledgements, and maintain accurate order data. Coordinate with Sales, Projects, Finance, Purchasing, Suppliers, and Logistics to ensure timely and accurate delivery. Manage order changes, backorders, credits, returns (RMAs), and replacements with high visibility for customers. Maintain delivery schedules, key milestones, and provide regular order status updates. Release orders for delivery, generate picking slips, and provide proof of delivery when required. Schedule service jobs and support technical staff (office and remote). Purchase parts, manage stock levels, and provide product advice to customers. Escalate supplier, delivery, or quality issues as required. Assist with general office administration tasks. Ensure all Quality Assurance and company processes are followed.
Continuous Improvement
Support process improvements across ordering and fulfilment. Use non-conformance processes to resolve quality or performance issues. Build knowledge across ERP systems, products, and internal processes. Work with customers to improve ordering efficiency and forecasting visibility.
Qualifications
Essential
* Tertiary qualification in Business or a related discipline
* Experience in order processing, sales administration, or customer service
* Strong ERP experience in an order-processing environment
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* A genuine customer-first mindset
Desirable
* Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) skills
* Salesforce or similar CRM experience
