Position Details About the role:As a Mid-Level Software Engineer, you have the crucial role of building the application framework, upholding our software engineering processes and championing our standards and agile ways of working. As the successful applicant, you will have: Tertiary qualifications in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related disciplinesAbout 1-2 years of industry experienceExperience with front-end and/or backend software developmentExpertise in developing backend web services with Java/C# or similar compiled, server-oriented languagesProficient in SQL and/or NoSQL database technologiesPrevious work with docker and containerised applications is desirablePrevious experience with cloud services would be ideal (Azure/AWS/GCP).Good understanding of defensive coding and common security Requirements and relevant information: VPSG4 salary range $92, to $, p.a. plus superannuation.The successful applicant will be required to undergo National Security Vetting, achieve and maintain a security classification as determined by the Department Head.
