- Base salary from $216,300 to $310,389 (based on experience)

About the Role
Join a high-performing, collegiate department delivering a wide range of anaesthesia services, with an emphasis on cardiac surgery and TOE. This is a 600-bed teaching hospital with a diverse caseload including:
- Cardiac (incl. coronary artery and valve surgery)
- Trauma and neuro
- Vascular and major general surgery
- Obstetrics and high-risk cases
You will:
- Deliver specialist anaesthetic care with a focus on cardiac surgery
- Perform and interpret transoesophageal echocardiography (TOE)
- Participate in on-call roster, research, and teaching through links with the University of Tasmania and Menzies Institute
Who We’re Looking For
- Fellowship of ANZCA or equivalent (FANZCA, FRCA, FCAI)
- Subspecialty training in cardiac anaesthesia
- Experience with intraoperative TOE
- Eligible for Specialist Registration with AHPRA, or via the Specialist Pathway for IMGs
- Recent experience in a tertiary setting preferred
