As a Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in driving sales growth and expanding revenue within strategic accounts.


Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for owning the full sales cycle, from prospecting through proposal, negotiation, and close. This includes generating new business in defined territories/segments, expanding revenue in existing accounts through upsell and cross-sell, and building and nurturing senior client relationships.

You will work closely with Client/Strategic Account Managers to develop and implement effective sales strategies that meet or exceed sales targets. Your primary focus will span finance and accounting, the SMSF industry, financial planners, legal firms, and corporate clients.


Required Skills and Qualifications

* A minimum of 5 years' experience in a professional field sales or SaaS business development role.
* Accounting knowledge / qualifications preferred, and/or experience working in the accounting / corporate secretarial OR B2B sales to professionals.
* Demonstrated understanding of the accounting / financial planning industry is preferred.
