Currently, we have an opening for 2 x apprentice chefs to start their careers in the kitchen.
About the roles
We are looking to expand our team and are in search of a First-Year Apprentice. (Second-year apprentices will also be considered)
Apprentice Requirements and Responsibilities
* As an apprentice chef, you will work alongside qualified chefs assisting in all aspects of food preparation and presentation. This position provides the opportunity to learn and build experiences within a commercial kitchen environment.
* No experience necessary
* Work well alone and as part of a small team
* Be enthusiastic about food
* Have a great attitude
* Have a willingness to learn
* Clean, maintain and store kitchen equipment appropriately
* You will learn the tricks of the trade and work with bigger quantities of food and a variety of seasonal ingredients
* Help prepare and cook dishes while training to be a full-time qualified chef
* Under supervision, you will operate kitchen equipment such as mixers, choppers, fryers, steamers and learn different knife and cooking techniques
