Your new role
You will be responsible for managing end‑to‑end financial and management accounting functions, including budget development, end‑of‑month and end‑of‑year processes, audit coordination and supporting financial statement preparation. You'll also oversee corporate services operations, procurement activities, and consultant contract management to ensure compliance with government policy and legislation.
Manage financial and management accounting services, including audits, budgets and reporting.Lead a small team in delivering responsive corporate and finance services.Oversee procurement, consultant contract administration, compliance and travel and update corporate policies and procedures to support strong business continuity.Provide high quality advice on financial, procurement and operational processes.What you'll need to succeedStrong technical experience in financial and management accounting within government or similar environments.Proven background supervising small teams and delivering corporate services.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey financial information clearly.High‑level organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.Advanced capability with financial systems and spreadsheet based financial analysis.NT driver's licence required.What you'll get in return
