Base pay range:
A$90,000.00 / yr - A$100,000.00 / yr
The Company:
This leading events agency delivers high-quality business events, including conferences and award programs. With a growing portfolio of external clients and owned events, they are looking for an experienced Event Producer to take ownership of event delivery, ensuring seamless execution and outstanding experiences for attendees, speakers, sponsors, and clients.
Position Terms:
* Permanent full-time role
* Working 3-4 days in the office, located in North Sydney
The Role:
The Event Producer will report to the Director and be responsible for the end-to-end management of multiple high-profile events throughout the year. This role requires strong project management skills, budget ownership, venue and supplier negotiations, AV management, and hands-on execution. You will be allocated Event Managers and Event Coordinators to support delivery but will ultimately be accountable for ensuring events run smoothly, on budget, and to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities include:
* Take ownership of multiple business events, from initial planning to execution and post-event debrief.
* Lead project management, ensuring timelines, budgets, and deliverables are met.
* Manage event budgets, ensuring financial targets are met while maintaining quality.
* Oversee venue sourcing, negotiation, and management to secure optimal locations.
* Manage AV suppliers and production, negotiating the best solutions for each event.
* Ensure all event playbooks, audience data, and competitive research are maintained.
* Work collaboratively with external clients, ensuring their event objectives are met.
* Engage with internal stakeholders, including marketing and commercial teams.
* Develop strong relationships with speakers, sponsors, suppliers, and partners to ensure seamless event experiences.
* Lead onsite event execution, ensuring all elements run smoothly, including speaker and sponsor engagement.
* Manage bump-in and bump-out logistics, coordinating teams and suppliers.
* Oversee show calling, ensuring smooth event flow and execution.
* Organise and lead post-event debriefs, identifying areas for improvement.
* Implement strategies and tactics to enhance event impact, efficiency, and overall experience.
* Drive operational excellence, improving processes and refining best practices.
The Candidate:
The ideal candidate will be a passionate events professional with proven experience in delivering in-person business events, including conferences and award shows. Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple events simultaneously is essential.
* Excellent budget management skills, with accountability for event financial performance.
* Venue, AV, and supplier negotiation expertise, ensuring cost-effective and high-quality delivery.
* Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills, both internally and externally.
* Problem-solving mindset, able to make quick, level-headed decisions under pressure.
* Leadership qualities, with experience managing teams and coordinating multiple stakeholders.
* Ability to travel interstate for events when required.
