The Role
Velmec Automotive is seeking an experienced and qualified Automotive Technician to join our growing team in Gympie, Queensland. As a full-time Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for providing high-quality vehicle maintenance and repair services to our valued customers.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair a wide range of passenger and light commercial vehicles
Perform scheduled maintenance services such as log book servicing, timing belts, cooling system, suspension and brake repairs and safety inspections
Use the latest diagnostic equipment and tools to efficiently identify and resolve vehicle issues
Maintain detailed records of all work performed and parts used
Provide exceptional customer service and communicate effectively with co workers
Adhere to all safety protocols and environmental regulations
What We're Looking For
Qualified Light Vehicle Mechanic (Cert lll)
Minimum 1 years of experience as an Automotive Technician, preferably in a similar workshop setting
Proven ability to diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicle makes and models
Strong technical skills and a comprehensive understanding of automotive systems and technologies
Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
Commitment to providing high-quality customer service
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation
