This role is home-based, ideally suited to candidates in the Melbourne area, and involves managing and growing client relationships across the mining and heavy industry sectors in Victoria, Tasmania, and South Australia.This role is suited to a dynamic sales professional with strong technical capability and a passion for developing long-term client relationships.
You will work autonomously, managing your own territory, identifying new opportunities, and providing technical support to customers across multiple industries.Skills & ExperienceTrade qualification in mechanical or electrical disciplines (highly advantageous)At least 5 years' experience in pump sales or related heavy industrial equipmentStrong understanding of the submersible pump market (preferred)Existing network within the pumping, mining, or industrial sectorsProven track record in new business development, client management and closing salesExcellent communication, negotiation and presentation skillsAbility to work independently and collaborate effectively with a wider national teamComfortable travelling across multiple states, including remote and regional areasCRM experience and good proficiency in Microsoft OfficeKey ResponsibilitiesManage and grow a multi-state territory with a focus on new business acquisitionBuild, maintain, and strengthen relationships with new and existing clientsIdentify and pursue opportunities to increase market share across VIC, TAS and SAProvide high-level technical support, including assessing pump applications and system requirementsUndertake pump selection, performance assessment, and troubleshooting as requiredPrepare proposals, quotes and pricing in line with company guidelinesMeet set KPIs, sales targets and regional growth objectivesWork closely with the broader sales team to execute strategic plansWhat's in it for You?
