We’re looking for a practical, hands-on Human Resource professional who loves rolling up their sleeves and keeping the people side of the business running smoothly — while still building a great culture through strong systems, clear processes, and consistent leadership support.
This role suits someone who can confidently manage the day-to-day HR workload (contracts, onboarding, compliance, performance support, HR systems), partner with leaders, and improve how we recruit, retain, and support our teams.
What you’ll be doing.
* Own the day-to-day HR function : contracts, variations, letters, documentation, and HR administration end-to-end
* Lead recruitment delivery (not just strategy): job ads, screening, interviews, offers, reference checks, and onboarding coordination
* Run onboarding and offboarding processes so nothing gets missed and staff feel supported from day one
* Support leaders with performance management : feedback, improvement plans, documentation, and best-practice process
* Maintain and improve HR systems (records, compliance, workflows, reporting) to keep everything accurate and audit-ready
* Ensure compliance across policies, procedures, and employment requirements
* Contribute to culture in a practical way — building leader capability, lifting team performance, and improving engagement through consistent “how we do things here”
What we’re looking for
* 4–5+ years’ experience in HR / People & Culture, with strong hands-on responsibility
* Comfortable handling HR administration and employee relations support (including documentation and sensitive conversations)
* Confident working with leaders and being the person who “gets it done”
* Strong organisation and attention to detail — you like tidy systems, accurate records, and clear process
* Australian work rights are essential at the time of application
* Management/leadership experience is valued, but we’re most focused on practical HR capability and ownership
Why this role
You’ll have real ownership, variety, and the opportunity to make immediate improvements — not by writing strategy decks, but by building a reliable HR engine that supports people properly and helps the business scale.
