About the role
We have a outstanding opportunity for an enthusiastic CSSD Sterilisation Technician to join our clinical team on a casual basis. Newly graduated Cert 3 or 4 Sterilisation Tech's please apply we are happy to train you up. Monday to Friday flexible roster.
Duties and responsibilities
This role will see you working collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary healthcare team to support patient care needs and deliver exceptional clinical outcomes.
- Clean, sterilise, inspect and package surgical instruments
- Ensure all sterilising standards and infection control measures are adhered to
- Ensure equipment and stock are available for Perioperative staff
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and excellence across the hospital
About You
You have a genuine passion for customer service, providing world‑class patient care and adding value to Australian healthcare. You will have:
- Must have Cert III or Cert IV in Sterilising Services
- Knowledge of sterilisation procedures and practices
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Sound working knowledge of AS5369:2023 and Infection Control standards
- Demonstrated ability to organise the sterilisation needs of the operating and procedure room requirements
- We are happy to train newly graduated Cert III or Cert IV Sterilising Services candidates

Our hospital includes 2 operating theatres, 4 Stage 1 recovery beds, 6 Stage 2 recovery recliners and 3 extended recovery beds.
