Business Services Manager
Pyramid Residential Care Centre (PRCC)
Pyramid Residential Care Centre is seeking a highly experienced and values-driven Business Services Manager to join our executive leadership team.
Reporting directly to the CEO, this is a critical leadership role responsible for driving the operational, financial and compliance performance of the organisation, while fostering a positive, people-focused culture across the Centre.
About the Role
This is more than a traditional business services role. We are looking for a leader who understands that strong systems, sound financial management and compliance excellence go hand in hand with people, culture and connection.
You will lead the delivery of finance, payroll, administration, compliance, risk and asset management functions, ensuring the organisation operates efficiently, sustainably and in line with the Aged Care Quality Standards, while supporting leaders and teams to deliver exceptional care outcomes.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
• Leading the Centre’s financial operations including budgeting, reporting, audits and statutory compliance
• Overseeing payroll processing, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and compliance with awards, legislation and internal policy
• Driving strategic initiatives and identifying opportunities for growth, sustainability and efficiency
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation including aged care, WHS, Fair Work and taxation requirements
• Overseeing contracts, procurement and external service providers
• Managing organisational risk, governance frameworks and insurance
• Leading and supporting Business Services, Maintenance and Domestic Services teams
• Partnering with leaders to support workforce planning, performance and culture
• Embedding continuous improvement and accountability across all non-clinical operations
About You
You are an experienced senior leader who leads with integrity, builds trust quickly and brings people on the journey.
You are known for your strong leadership values, your ability to build genuine rapport with your team, and your commitment to creating a positive and supportive workplace culture.
You will bring:
• Extensive experience in business operations, finance and payroll oversight
• Strong understanding of payroll compliance, awards and statutory obligations
• Experience using INERVA (or similar payroll) will be highly regarded
• Proven ability to lead and develop teams across multiple functions
• A people-first leadership style with strong emotional intelligence
• The ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on operational delivery
• Strong communication skills and the ability to influence at all levels
• A proactive, solutions-focused mindset in a fast-paced environment
Experience in aged care or healthcare will be highly regarded.

Requirements
• Relevant tertiary qualifications and significant experience in a similar senior role
• Current National Police Check
• Current vaccinations as required
• QLD Driver’s Licence
