Role requirements
* Provide functional and/or technical expertise to plan, analyse, define and support the delivery of future functional and technical capabilities for an application or group of applications.
* Assist in facilitating impact assessment efforts and in producing and reviewing estimates for client work requests.
* Lead and architect platform transformation programs through combined application and functional process expertise.
* Engage with customers on business challenges and the value of solutions.
* Run technical and design workshops to understand the customers' business goals, challenges and technical environment.
* Design architecture solutions that span multiple Salesforce Clouds, including integration and authentication across systems, to meet business requirements.
* Manage the development lifecycle to ensure the delivery of highly secure solutions, optimised for performance and built to scale.
* Articulate design considerations, trade‐offs, benefits, and recommendations for a technical architecture in forums such as Architectural Governance meetings, Internal Quality Assurance reviews and interactions with Salesforce Professional Services and other partners.
* Collaborate with the Functional team to determine the best way to implement scalable and maintainable solutions on/off platform.
* Generate and review designs and ensure they follow best practices and meet business goals.
* Design and build scalable and reusable frameworks.
* Be the key escalation point for technical and architecture issues.
* Provide knowledge and guidance to the project team on Salesforce security best practices, integration patterns, development and coding standards.
* Provide knowledge and guidance on Salesforce data migration best practices and own the end‐to‐end technical solution on the project.
