We're excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Forklift Driver / Automotive Parts Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team in Malaga WA. Role responsibilities
* Forklifting vehicles in yard and in workshop
* Perform basic Quality Control tasks and complete washing of Engines, Transmissions and other parts to ensure parts meet business quality standards
* Scanning, photographing and labelling parts
* Ensure parts are collected for packing and wrapping in a timely manner
* Packing and wrapping parts for transport
* Loading stillages with parts and loading stillage on truck
* Assisting with stock and consumables counts
* Follow all site safety requirements
* General yard and forklift duties as directed
The successful candidate will have the following
* MUST HAVE - Forklift license (7 tonne forklift on site)
* Knowledge of mechanical car parts and panels
Experience & Skills
* Problem solving
* Able to work safely and efficiently both in a team environment and independently
* Well-developed interpersonal skills
* Strong written and communication skills
* Able to professionally represent the organization
* Able to follow processes
* Demonstrate initiative and contribute to Continuous Improvement
