What you'll be doing
The Research Manager will have a pivotal role in the execution and operation of the Rural, Regional and Remote Clinical Trial Enabling Program (R3-CTEP) with support from the Western Cluster Clinical Trial Support Unit (CTSU). The role will support the goals of improving equity and access to clinical trials and professionalising the workforce in Far West LHD as part of the Western Cluster partner in the program. The role will also be supporting the governance structures of Far West LHD to ensure the National Clinical Trial Governance Framework is embedded in the LHD.

How to apply
To be considered for this position, please address the selection criteria thoroughly:
* Tertiary qualifications in science, medical science, health science, pharmacy, nursing, or related field and/or demonstrated relevant equivalent professional experience in a clinical research environment.
* Demonstrated management skills and experience to drive clinical research with understanding of ethical/regulatory frameworks.
* Strong analytical skills and knowledge of statistical methods; ability to conduct/support performance measurement processes/research methodologies and analyse implications within a health organisation.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience in high level report writing.
* Understanding of challenges facing research activities in rural, regional and remote areas.
* Excellent organisational skills, ability to set priorities, analyse problems, formulate solutions and coordinate multiple tasks.
* Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.
* Current NSW driver's licence and ability to travel for work, including occasional overnight stays.
