We are partnering with a respected funeral services provider to recruit Casual Funeral Director's Assistants to support day-to-day operations and help deliver thoughtful, well-organised services for families during difficult times. This position suits someone who is calm under pressure, highly reliable, and comfortable working in a professional environment where care, presentation, and attention to detail matter. What you'll be doing: Assisting Funeral Directors with the coordination of services Supporting transfers and preparation duties Managing paperwork and operational tasks accurately Helping ensure services run smoothly and respectfully Maintaining a professional and compassionate approach at all times What we're looking for: Flexibility to work across a rotating casual roster including weekends, evenings, and on-call shifts Strong communication skills and a respectful, empathetic nature Ability to remain composed in emotional or time-sensitive situations Excellent attention to detail and personal presentation A team-focused attitude with a willingness to learn Full unrestricted drivers licence Experience in funeral services, healthcare, aged care, hospitality, or customer-facing environments will be highly regarded, though not essential.
