Senior Dietitian Role
This is a senior-level position that requires advanced dietetic clinical practice skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing dietetic services to the burns patient cohort as part of a multidisciplinary team.
The Senior Dietitian will work closely with the Head of Department – Dietetics to provide supervision to P1 dietetic staff and students in the clinical area, including allocating clinical duties and managing performance.
Key responsibilities include:
* Providing expert dietetic advice and care to patients with complex nutritional needs.
* Developing and implementing nutrition plans that meet the individual needs of patients.
* Supervising and mentoring junior dietitians to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide high-quality patient care.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, applicants must have:
* A degree in nutrition or a related field.
* Postgraduate qualifications in dietetics or a related field.
* Current registration with the relevant professional body.
* Relevant experience working in a hospital or healthcare setting.
