PBBS are recruiting a Junior Horticulturalist, the ideal candidate will have the following criteria (or selection of):

Formal Qualifications in Horticulture (or currently studying) or Related Field
* Certificate III or higher in Horticulture, Landscape Design, or a related discipline.
Hands-On Experience in Urban Greening or Green Infrastructure Projects
* Demonstrated experience in installing, maintaining, and managing living walls, green roofs, rooftop gardens, or similar systems.
Plant Knowledge and Species Selection Expertise
* Strong knowledge of plant species suitable for vertical gardens, rooftop environments, and other microclimates common to urban spaces.
Irrigation and Nutrient Management Skills
* Experience in managing automated irrigation systems, fertigation, and monitoring plant health in built environments.
Attention to Detail and Strong Work Ethic
* Proven ability to maintain high standards of plant care and aesthetics in commercial and residential settings.
Understanding of WHS (Workplace Health & Safety) Procedures
* Knowledge of and commitment to safe work practices, particularly when working at heights or in construction zones.
Ability to Interpret Plans and Work Collaboratively on Site
* Experience reading landscape or architectural plans and coordinating with other trades and contractors on-site.
Excellent Communication and Customer Service Skills
* Ability to communicate effectively with clients, team members, and suppliers.
Flexibility and Problem-Solving Skills
* Capable of working independently or as part of a team, and adapting to changing site conditions, locations and challenges.
Current Driver’s License and White Card (or willing to obtain)
