The Opportunity
St Patrick's College is seeking applications from self-motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join our VET Department as a part-time hours per fortnight / 0.45 FTE) Teacher Assistant. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about hands-on, practical learning and enjoys supporting young people as they develop industry-ready skills. In this position, you will assist with the preparation and organisation of tools, equipment, and materials for Electro Technology lessons, provide in-class support to teachers and students, and contribute to maintaining a safe and efficient workshop environment. Responsibilities also include assisting with stock ordering, equipment checks, and general housekeeping to ensure high-quality learning experiences within the Electro Technology space.
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience and in accordance with the Tasmanian Catholic Education Single Enterprise Agreement 2024.
