Our client, established in 1936, is a South Australian manufacturer of switchboards and a leader in electrical engineering, contracting, and distribution. Due to their continued success, we currently have an exciting opportunity for a hardworking Carpenter/Cladder to join their team in Edinburgh, working on building modular rooms for switchboards.
Duties may include, but are not limited to:
* Installation of sheet flooring & windows/doors
* Installation of linings, panelling and mouldings
* Roof cladding & exterior wall cladding
* Erecting light weight steel wall frames and roof trusses
* Constructing eaves
* Reading plans & other general carpentry duties
Successful applicants will have some or all of the following:
* Relevant Trade Qualification (Certificate III in Carpentry) with on-site experience
* Knowledge and understanding of the Building & Construction Industry
* Valid Driver's Licence and reliable transport
* White Card (Construction Card)
* Ability to pass a pre-employment medical / pass a drug and alcohol test
