Overview
Join the Reading Mentor program and support students in developing their reading skills by sitting and reading with them during school term afternoons.
Schedule
Available on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday afternoons from 2 pm to 3 pm. You can choose to volunteer on all three days or one day per week.
Responsibilities
* Sit and read with students during the Reading Mentor program.
* Listen to and assist a child with their reading skills.
* Provide a valuable learning opportunity for children who may not have someone at home to read with.
Commitment
Regular – more than 6 months.
