We are seeking experienced and passionate Maintenance Workers to work within our Infrastructure Team, servicing the Benalla Rural City municipality to maintain road infrastructure assets.
The positions are responsible for the delivery of services directed by the Coordinator Works to maintain road infrastructure assets, including footpaths, kerb and channel, drainage, sealed and unsealed roads.
To be successful in this role the ideal candidate will have:
* Knowledge of appropriate OH&S and work practices and procedures
* Willingness to work towards continuous improvement and undertake training
* Demonstrated relevant experience in the operation of small plant and power tools
Desirable Skills & Licenses
* Current driver’s license including medium/heavy ridged truck license
* Competency for backhoe, front-end loader and skid steer
* Traffic Controller and worksite traffic management skills
* Experience with concreting and asphalting
* Construction Induction / White Card.
