About the role
RMB Logistics is seeking a Truck Driver to join our team based in Dulong, QLD. This casual role with full-time hours to start as an integral part of our road transport operations, delivering goods to Brisbane, Toowoomba, Dalby & Gold Coast. We also offer changeovers in Kempsey, NSW and multi-drop interstate, Brisbane to Sydney & back. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of goods by all relevant regulations and company policies.
What you'll be doing
* Operate a range of heavy vehicles, including vans, rigid, semi-trailers and B-doubles, in a safe and responsible manner
* Plan and execute delivery routes to ensure on-time and in-full deliveries
* Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and completed all necessary documentation
* Adhere to all relevant road transport regulations, including fatigue management and load restraint requirements
* Provide excellent customer service and liaise with the dispatch and operations teams
* Maintain the cleanliness and roadworthiness of your assigned vehicle
* Primarily working out of our Dulong depot
What we're looking for
* A valid minimum HR with an HC or MC-preferred driver's licence with a clean driving record
* A preferred extensive experience (minimum 3 years) driving heavy vehicles in a commercial transport environment, but willing to take limited experience.
* Exceptional safe driving skills and a strong focus on compliance with road transport regulations
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* A flexible approach to working hours.
