The Royal Agricultural & Horticultural Society of SA Inc. (RAHS) is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to advancing agriculture, horticulture, and related industries throughout South Australia. Based at the Adelaide Showground, we are at the heart of diverse and exciting activities every day, from the Royal Adelaide Show to major music festivals and bustling weekend markets.

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and highly organised individual to join our dynamic operations team. This hands‐on role supports the successful delivery of year‐round events at the Adelaide Showground, manages the Adelaide Showground Caravan Park, and contributes to the operations of the Royal Adelaide Show.

Key Responsibilities

* Supervise venue operations, including access control, building services (lighting, air‐conditioning), and our automated parking system.
* Deliver and support event setups based on client requirements (e.g., furniture, electrical, plumbing, fencing).
* Maintain high presentation standards across the Adelaide Showground and Caravan Park.
* Ensure compliance with and enforcement of Work Health & Safety policies and procedures.
* Serve as Duty Manager during rostered shifts, overseeing all aspects of venue activity and service delivery.
* Play an operational role in the successful delivery of the Royal Adelaide Show.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

* Experience in event or venue operations is highly desirable.
* Senior First Aid certificate or willingness to obtain.
* Current Driver's Licence.
* EWP (Elevated Work Platform) Licence is an advantage.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer applications.
* Must hold or be eligible to obtain a current Working with Children Check.

* Able to prepare clear and concise written reports.
* Willingness to undertake further training and professional development.

Reporting Line

You will report to the Team Leader – Operations Supervisors and may be assigned additional tasks by the Venue Manager, including general maintenance duties.

Working Hours

This is a rotating roster position, covering seven days a week.
