Overview
Norrish Earthmoving Repairs are looking for an organised, enthusiastic and dynamic LV Mechanic to join the Workshop Team in Kalgoorlie. This position would suit those looking to potentially upskill into a HD Mechanic position, and someone who's able to lead the team to meet the needs of our clients.
As an LV mechanic, you will play an essential role in planning, quality control and service to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
* Day to day planning of the LV servicing
* Management of jobs including ordering parts, delegating time to jobs and keeping track of job costs
* Support the upkeep of the yard
* Follow and comply with Companypolicies and procedures and maintain a high safety standard at all times
* Identifyand coordinate partsrequired for works and keep track of where inwards/outwards goods are inline with Parts for clients
* Mentoring and on the job coaching for trade assistants and work experience students
* Oversee works and liaise with Supervisors and clients on progress of jobs
* Monitor allocated registers and assist with various reporting and document support
* Help maintain a culture which encourages teamwork and collaboration
The successful applicant will ideally have
* Australian recognised LV Mechanic Trade Certificate, with a minimum 2 years practical experience
* Demonstrated experience leading small teams
* High Risk Licence - LF
* A valid driver's license
* Able to complete and pass a Pre-Employment Medical and DAS
