Are you ready to pedal into a dynamic role that combines creativity, strategy, and a passion for all things marketing? BQ is on the lookout for a Marketing Coordinator to join the Bicycle Queensland team and play a pivotal role in steering their mission - "More people riding more often."
At Bicycle Queensland, they're not just a team; they're a community on wheels! Located in the heart of Brisbane and representing all Queensland bike riders, they're the driving force behind promoting cycling, advocating for change, and partnering in exciting events that bring the cycling community together.
**The Role**
The Lead - Communications and Campaigns is responsible for ensuring end-to-end planning and execution of all campaigns, marketing, advertising and communication activities as per agreed plans. Plans will be developed in line with the Bicycle Queensland strategy and budget. The role is a fully integrated member of the Bicycle Queensland team, working across all areas of the organisation - membership, events, and advocacy and education.
**What will you be doing?**
- Plan and oversee the delivery of campaigns, marketing, advertising and communication activities
- Manage all social media platforms
- Manage the website strategy, stakeholders, and branding - including analytics reporting and analysis
- Oversee and contribute to copywrite - create regular and engaging content for the website, social media and e-newsletters
- Assist the CEO with campaign development, strategy and execution
- Manage distribution of EDMs
- Undertake stakeholder management and marketing/brand deliverables in relation to events and activations
- Ensure database subscriptions are maintained and updated in accordance with marketing strategy
- Work closely with our graphic designer to meet all deadlines
- Report and analyse campaigns and marketing activities
- Prepare media statements and communications activities as required by the CEO
- Contribute to Bicycle Queensland's mission
**What are we looking for?**
- Tertiary qualifications in marketing, communications or related field of study, with at least 2 years of professional marketing experience, including campaign coordination / management
- A passion for, and proven understanding of, social and digital marketing
- Experience in using databases or CRMs for customer segmentation and journey mapping
- Proficiency using and creating content for Facebook, Instagram, Instagram Story, YouTube
- High level of office administration experience, including using Microsoft Office
- Proficiency with Adobe (Photoshop, Illustrator & InDesign) & WordPress as well as other relevant programs.
- External stakeholder management experience
- Exceptional time management and organisational skills as you will be working on multiple projects at one time
- A contextual understanding of the bike riding environment and community and the role of government and not-for-profit organisations
**This role will pay a salary of between $100,000 and $110,000 + super.
