From macroeconomic forecasts to individual stock analysis, our team develops tools and insights to help shape investment strategies for clients and the firm. Our analysts work on client-focused research in the equity, fixed-ie, currency, andmodities markets, mining big data that enters markets around the world each day to identify game-changing insights. You'll be part of a team that is intellectually curious, creative, analytical, and passionate about performing market research.
HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL:
1. Provide integral support to single stock or thematic research analysts
2. Build, maintain and updatepany forecasts and valuation models
3. Conduct market share, macro trend, and crosspany and sub sector data analysis
4. Work closely with Content Management Group to ensure timely publication of research reports
5. Prepare and produce insightfulpany specific projects
6. Perform statistical analysis of economic data, fundamentals, and relevant correlations of the data
7. Listen to and produce briefing notes onpanies
8. Conference calls and analyst briefings
9. Update monthly reports, marketing books, and daily valuation sheets
10. Respond to ad hoc requests from clients, sales and traders
11. Attend client meetings with their senior analyst in Sydney (or other offices if possible)
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WE'RE LOOKING FOR
QUALIFICATIONS
12. Bachelors in biology, medical degree or in /finance/ accounting, and CFA qualification is preferred
13. Minimum 1 year of banking/ research experience covering healthcare sector stocks is preferred
14. Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills
15. Highly analytical thinker and writer
16. Excellent verbal and writtenmunication skills in English and Korean
17. Ability to respond quickly to changing situations is a must
18. Excellent skills in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
19. Demonstrable time management, prioritization skills desirable and exceptional analytical skills
20. Ability to meet aggressive deadlines and work under pressure
