About the Role
The role involves leading casework services, supporting children and young people in care, as well as their families and care teams.
This position requires providing operational leadership, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and contributing to the enhancement of specialist casework practices.
Key Responsibilities
* Developing relationships with external stakeholders to ensure regulatory compliance;
* Establishing collaborative relationships with various services to improve outcomes for children, young people, and their families;
* Ensuring a trauma-informed approach is embedded in systems and practice, reflecting a commitment to social justice.
The successful candidate will have:
* A strong understanding of child protection and statutory frameworks;
* Knowledge and experience in casework, program management, service development, and review;
* Demonstrated skills in staff supervision and team leadership;
* A proven track record of delivering positive outcomes for vulnerable children, young people, and their families.
