The role
Reporting to the Director Property and Commercial, this role will manage Health Capital Division's property acquisition and disposal programs, leasing and licencing, property due diligence investigations, town planning, native title, heritage and other property related functions.
Director, Property and Commercial on matters relevant to the management of corporate real estate functions on a state-wide basis. You will manage and lead a broad range of property functions including acquisition, disposal, leasing, utility and land agreements within Queensland Health to support Hospital and Health services.
Additional responsibilities include the sourcing and management of the negotiation and acquisition of new or expanded facilities including hospitals, Mental-Health community-based services or for support services.
The successful person
To be successful in this role it will be necessary to possess demonstrated high level
knowledge of and extensive experience in corporate real estate functions in the context of a large and geographically dispersed public sector organisation. You will also have proven ability to effectively lead and manage teams, project deliverables, business priorities and timeframes within a complex and changing environment.
Your proven team leadership skills, and past success in establishing, developing and maintaining productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders will further ensure your success in this role.
