Requirements of the Role
Brunetti Oro is seeking a passionate and experienced Venue Manager for Brunetti Oro Myer and an Assistant Venue Manager for Brunetti Oro Swanston Street.
Both roles will be tasked with providing operational management and leadership, and driving business performance through the delivery of a premium customer experience, where high-level service and product quality are paramount.
The Assistant Venue Manager will work closely with the Venue Manager, providing support in the delivery of effective leadership and management across Brunetti Oro Swanston Street.
Both roles are responsible for ensuring venues operate effectively, profitably, and successfully, and it is expected the VM and AVM will have a deep knowledge and understanding of customer service, Italian culture, and cuisine, demonstrating a hand's on approach to team work and task fulfillment. Roles are both managerial and operational.
The successful candidates will be natural and experienced leaders with a passion for hospitality and Italian cuisine/culture. They will thrive in a fast-paced bustling environment demonstrating the ability to work well under pressure and deliver high-level customer service and quality.
Skills and Experience Required
To be successful in this role you will be able to demonstrate:
- Effective leadership demonstrated through previous experience of managing teams in a premium Italian hospitality setting
- At least 2 years’ experience of hospitality industry management. Overseeing daily venue operations
- Experience with budgeting, effective rostering, stock control, par level management, wastage, inventory, ordering and revenue growth
- POS system experience
- Excellent customer service skills ideally finessed in premium Italian café and/or restaurant operation with the ability to deliver a premium customer experience
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain productive working relationships and teams, providing coaching and mentorship as required
- Superior communication skills
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Energy, enthusiasm, and a passion for excellence in hospitality and the customer experience
- Permanent residency or ability to work in Australia
- Flexibility and availability to work a mix of weekdays, weekends, public holidays
