The Liaison Librarian plays a vital part in forging connections between students, academic staff, and the University Library's resources and services.
About this Opportunity
This part-time position sits within the Student Experience portfolio, encompassing various departments including Libraries, Student Life and Wellness. The Liaison Librarian acts as a key liaison point between the Library, University, and internal/external client groups.
Key responsibilities include:
* Collaborating with stakeholders to design, deliver, and evaluate library education and research services for staff and students.
* Providing specialist expertise on resource discovery, complex search strategies, scholarly communication, research data management, and research impact.
* Contributing to the review and maintenance of Library collection, information, and data management policies, practices, activities, and systems.
* Engaging with vendors, suppliers, consortia, and stakeholders to access and use resources effectively.

Applicants must possess a degree qualification with relevant work experience or a combination of extensive experience, education, or training. Key selection criteria include:
* Demonstrated experience in library services, including designing, delivering, and evaluating education and research programs.
