Reporting into the Sales Team Leader - WA, the new Key Account Manager will be based at our Balcatta office in Perth, WA, and enjoy flexibility. You will play a key role in delivering strategic solutions to our customers in our Safety division with a focus upon portable and fixed solutions for gas detection, flame detection systems, respiratory protection, personal protection equipment, fire safety and training equipment, escape, and rescue equipment.
Key responsibilities
* Contribute to the growth of our Safety portfolio in WA;
* Engage customers across an increasingly wide range of industries;
* Deliver product and services sales to achieve relevant budgets;
* Proactively visit and manage relationships with current and prospective customers;
* Support and train distributors, agents, or independent representatives selling Draeger products;
* Embrace all opportunities to promote Draeger products and services to increase sales, market share, and customer experience;
* Maintain accurate CRM records to enable optimal forecasting and customer management;
* Effectively service customer queries, needs, and expectations;
* Present to customers, attend trade shows, and exhibit events;
* Collaborate with internal segment and regional managers;
* Assist with past due accounts;
* Apply a compliance focused mindset across all operations, and;
Ideal candidate
* Tertiary qualification in a related field, or equivalent industry experience;
* 3+ years' technical sales experience with breathing apparatus, gas detection, or related devices;
* Well versed with applying a strategic solution focused approach for customers;
* Adaptability and readiness to handle multiple, changing priorities in a fast-paced environment;
* Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn;
* Exemplary understanding of compliance rules and ability to act as a role model in upholding and promoting compliance standards, and;
* Model in upholding and promoting compliance standards;
* Excellent relationship management, influencing, stakeholder management, negotiation, facilitation, interpersonal, and communication skills;
* Current Driver's License.
