The Role

The Cleaner Porter position provides a variety of tasks across Environmental Support Services SESLHD, supporting the patient journey and providing a clean and safe facility for patients, staff and visitors. Tasks include cleaning of clinical and non-clinical areas, project cleaning and reactive cleaning, transferring of patients and equipment across the facility as well as other porter related duties, waste management and linen handling. The role is responsible for ensuring timely response to patient flow and facility operational needs, and is aligned to environmental cleaning and infection prevention and control policies.
