Key Account Development Role
This is a dynamic role where building strong relationships with customers is paramount. As part of our team, you'll spend time engaging with clients locally in Toowoomba and on the road, visiting various customers across the region.
Your focus will be on developing sales strategies and driving growth in revenue, margin, and market share across our steel products, including fencing, tubing, and rural infrastructure solutions that support regional communities.
* Identify new opportunities to support farmers, fabricators, and resellers across the region
* Grow our presence with existing customers by understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions
* Nurture relationships with key rural and agricultural stakeholders
* Stay connected with local industries to uncover new opportunities for growth
* Prepare proposals, quotes, and tenders that meet customer needs and drive business success
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement sales strategies to drive growth in revenue, margin, and market share
* Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the region
* Prepare and present proposals, quotes, and tenders to customers
Requirements:
* Proven B2B sales experience (agriculture, building, or steel experience an advantage but not essential)
* Strong relationship-building skills and confidence in connecting with people at all levels
* Commercial acumen with an eye for pricing, margin, and profitability
* Self-motivation and ability to manage time effectively while out on the road
