About the Role We are seeking a reliable and detail-focused Inventory Officer to join our Manufacturing team in Perth, WA. Reporting to the Manufacturing Coordinator, this role is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records in Oracle and supporting stock integrity across the manufacturing environment.
This is a hands-on, operational role suited to someone who enjoys working with data, systems, and people on the factory floor, and who takes pride in accuracy, organisation, and follow-through.
Key Responsibilities
* Monitor stock levels, variances, and inventory movements
* Maintain accurate purchase order records, updates, and revisions
* Raise purchase orders to replenish stock at the direction of Manufacturing and Stores Supervisors
* Support Purchasing Officers and Manufacturing Administrators by identifying and following up outstanding deliveries
* Liaise directly with suppliers regarding outstanding stock orders
* Ensure daily and accurate inventory consumption within Oracle
* Assist with maintaining cleanliness and organisation within designated stores areas
* Support stocktake accuracy and inventory compliance initiatives
What You'll Bring
* Proven experience in an operational purchasing or inventory administration role, ideally within manufacturing, construction, or a related industry
* Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage data entry in a high-volume environment
* Ability to prioritise tasks and manage a dynamic workload
* Clear and professional communication skills when working with internal teams and external suppliers
* Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new systems
* A positive, practical approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable (but not essential)
* Experience using Oracle
* Knowledge of construction or manufacturing materials
* TAFE or tertiary qualification (secondary school minimum required)
