Perth Obstetrics & Gynaecology Ultrasound specialises in advanced gynaecological scans and a comprehensive range of obstetric scans. Our clinic is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities to provide high-quality care in women\'s health.
We are pleased to offer two fixed-term part-time Medical Receptionist / Ultrasound Assistant positions at our practice in Mt. Lawley. The initial contract is for 1 year, which includes a 6-month probation period. Subject to performance and operational requirements, the contract may be extendable to 2 years.
The successful candidates will be expected to commence as soon as possible.

General Purpose of Ultrasound Assistant Role:
Meet and greet the patients as per appointments and give instructions prior to and following scans. Keep the ultrasound room well-organised and tidy. Prepare the room and scan machines for appointments to help run the list as scheduled. Help to write reports as dictated by the sonographer/ sonologist.
General Purpose of Receptionist Role:
To provide high quality reception services to patients and doctors in a caring and supportive manner. Efficiently managing patient appointments and giving instructions upon arrival. Typing ultrasound reports. Liaise with medical and non-medical staff, other consultants and GPs in relation to bookings and reports.

Demonstrated previous experience in the role of receptionist and/or ultrasound assistant at a medical clinic
Effective interpersonal and communication skills
Able to work independently or as part of a team
Understanding of medical terminology, specifically regarding Radiology, Obstetrics, and Gynaecology
Knowledge of medical billing system
Enthusiasm to grow and develop with the practice
