The role allows the successful candidate to focus on developing their expertise and emerging research profile within demography, while also contributing to service and engagement activities.Key Responsibilities Will IncludeResearch: Conduct and publish high-quality research, secure competitive funding, collaborate on research projects, and contribute to research translation and commercialisation.Supervision and Researcher Development: Effectively supervise and mentor research students and staff, supporting their development and performance in line with UQ policies.Citizenship and Service: Demonstrate UQ values through active participation in unit priorities, internal committees, and supporting colleagues and operations as needed.External Engagement: Develop partnerships and contribute to service activities beyond the university, including with industry, government, and professional bodies.This is a research-focused position.
