About the Role
We are seeking
experienced Mechanical Fitters
to join our team for upcoming FIFO shutdown and maintenance roles. This role is set for an ongoing 2:1 roster.
We pay
$51.15
flat rate, plus 15% increase on NS. This is paid on 12 hours worked, along with Superannuation paid on ordinary hours worked.
As a
FIFO Mechanical Fitter
, you will be responsible for:
Fixed plant maintenance, servicing, and repairs
– working on conveyors, crushers, pumps, and other heavy mining equipment.
Shutdown work and breakdown support
– ensuring plant reliability and uptime.
Working within strict safety protocols
– ensuring compliance with mine site procedures.
Collaborating with site teams
to deliver high-quality maintenance outcomes.
Please note that this position is FIFO from Perth only. Flights or travel allowances from other cities are not included.
What We're Looking For:
Australian-Recognised Trade Qualification – Mechanical Fitter
Minimum 2 years' post-trade experience in fixed plant mining maintenance
Overhead Crane Ticket & VOC (completed within the last 90 days)
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-risk environment
Site Compliance Requirements:
Confined Space & Working at Heights
(valid within 2 years)
High-Risk Work License – WP, LF, DG
(preferred but not mandatory)
Pre-employment medical & drug/alcohol screening
(must be able to pass)
Mask Fit Testing
(Clean-Shaven Policy Applies)
Ability to work both day and night shifts as required
