Full-time 12-month Traineeship
We are seeking a Trainee Cook to join our team. At North Edge Early Learning, we are committed to investing in your professional growth and providing the necessary support for you to succeed. As a Trainee Cook, you will be responsible for assisting the planning, preparation and serving of all food required for the centre. This position will work autonomously to provide a variety of nutritious, fun and culturally appropriate meals for all children at the centre.

About North Edge Early Learning
An innovative centre committed to providing exceptional care and development for children aged from babies to six-year-olds. Nestled in the vibrant residential area of North Warrnambool, our centre spans across 3,000 square meters of modern, purpose-built space. North Edge Early Learning includes four separate interchangeable childcare rooms each with outdoor play areas, an accredited kindergarten program that is delivered by qualified kindergarten teachers and modern kitchen facilities with the capacity to cater for the preparation of all children's cooked daily meals.
The successful applicant will have:
* Willingness to undertake a Cert III Commercial Cookery
* Willingness to obtain certificate in Safe Food Handling
* Flexibility and a positive team attitude
* Current Working with Children's Check (or willing to obtain)
* Previous experience in a similar role (desirable, not mandatory)
