Wealth Management role with leading Australian stockbroker.
A key function of this Dealers Assistant position is confidently dealing with Private Client Advisors and their clients in a high volume, time critical environment.
Desirable experience in stockbroking assistant roles.
Responsibilities:
* Assist advisors in developing, preparing, and implementing financial advice and investment proposals efficiently and accurately;
* Support advisors in servicing and maintaining existing client relationships;
* Provide superior client service by responding quickly and appropriately to client requests;
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation and industry standards;
* Identify opportunities for process improvement within the business;
* Ensure efficient stock settlements and transfer of funds, providing clients with relevant information;
* Manage overall client relationship and communication process;
* Offer administrative support to the Investment/Financial Advisory team;
* Initiate new client process by arranging paperwork and gathering identification documents;
* Undertake general mailing duties, including opening and distributing mail;
* Maintain filing system according to compliance criteria;
* Reconcile expense statements and receipts;
* Assist with documentation, including managed funds and IPO application forms;
* Draft correspondence for routine matters;
* Provide reports for investments to clients and third parties;
* Cover Team Assistants' duties when they are on leave;
* Perform other ad-hoc administrative tasks.
Experience:
3+ years of experience in equity markets, either from operations, Client Services or similar Desk Assistant / Adviser Assistant / Dealer assistant experience ideal
Qualifications:
* Degree qualified in a Banking related discipline;
* RG 146 qualification (ideally) or willingness to study.
