**About the role**:
We are seeking a Commercial Manager who will support all Distribution Centres's in our Network including Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, Western Australia and Auckland, NZ.
Each day will bring something different but key responsibilities of the role will be to:
- Operationalise the DC Operations budget and support the governance and improvement of cost
- Manage supplier relationships for all product and service providers, including being an active lead in procurement and sourcing for new suppliers and managing existing supplier contracts
- Drive cost accountabilities through the business by actively partnering with leadership teams and suppliers for optimal service and cost delivery
- Analyse and recommend business improvement initiatives to drive cost reduction and margin improvements
- Manage the Operations Services function of the business, including invoice management and remittance
- Partner directly with the Supply Chain Continuous Improvement and Commercial functions to scope and execute change requirements
- Oversee the Compliance function for Operations Services, including contractor management and engagement
**About You**:
To be successful in this role, you will be a results driven and outcome focused individual, you will also bring:
- 5 + years' experience in financial analysis and insights and a successful track record in a similar position.
- Solid commercial acumen and business understanding
- Ability to identify issues and areas for improvement through analysis
- Aptitude to translate financial data into clear and meaningful insights
- Analytical skills, numeracy and data analysis skills
- Advanced negotiation, influencing and stakeholder management abilities
- Ability to communicate and present information confidently to a wide range of stakeholders including store team members and Executives
- Commercial and operational focussed
- Intermediate to advanced computer software skills, including Excel and other accounting packages; experience in SAP (core Finance modules) and an Enterprise planning tool (Anaplan or similar)
- Problem-solving skills including ability to focus on details while maintaining "big picture" view
- CA or CPA Qualification, and Tertiary Qualification related to Specialty Area (Degree or Post Grad)
